According to the financial publication Finder, economists estimate that over 132 million Americans plan to shop on Black Friday weekend and Cyber Monday. The "Fact Checked" report says shoppers will spend nearly $60 billion trying to score a deal in person at the stores and online.
Most people like a bargain, especially around this time of the year, but an even greater deal awaits you. See, God has the "deal of two lifetimes" for you to secure. However, the cost and value far exceed anything you can purchase online or at a department store. The deal is "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life" (John 3:16).
This deal of two lifetimes promises abundance during your lifespan on Earth. In John 10:10, Jesus said, "I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly." The abundant life is tied to God's promises concerning provision for needs, peace amidst storms, pardon from sin, His presence, power over struggles, and purpose to live—these blessings from God's special deal position you for a life of significance and fulfillment.
The deal of two lifetimes also promises eternal life. Jesus promised heaven when He said, "Don't let your heart be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in me. 2 In my Father's house are many rooms. If it were not so, would I have told you that I am going to prepare a place for you? 3 If I go away and prepare a place for you, I will come again and take you to myself, so that where I am you may be also. 4 You know the way to where I am going" (John 14:1-4). This deal is especially beneficial if you face the holiday season without a loved one. The promise of heaven is real, and the deal is secure.
