God Is Fully Aware Of Your Adversity

God Is Fully Aware Of Your Adversity | July 16th

A common fear and frustration associated with adversity is the thought that God has forgotten us. After all, if He is all-powerful, why would He allow problems in our home or the world to go unanswered? The notion that God has forsaken us or doesn't see our faith is nothing more than a false narrative from the pits of hell. Our adversary, the devil, wants you to think that God is asleep at the wheel or disinterested in your concerns. However, Scripture refutes such lies. First Peter 5:7 says, "Let him have all your worries and cares, for he is always thinking about you and watching everything that concerns you."

You must remember, especially in times of trials and tribulations, that God is fully aware of you and your adversity! There is not a detail of your drama that God disregards. God even notes your tears. Psalm 56:8 says, "You keep track of all my sorrows. You have collected all my tears in your bottle. You have recorded each one in your book." This constant vigilance is a testament to His love and care for each one of us.
Still, at times, confusion over "why" there is a tragedy or personal troubles can get the best of us, but the reality is that we live in a fallen and broken world. Think of it this way: Freewill is a gift we can use wisely or wickedly; sadly, some choose the latter, and the consequences can be life-altering. Nevertheless, our focus needs to be far beyond this world. Philippians 3:20 reminds us, "But our citizenship is in heaven, and from it, we await a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ,"

There will be death, discouragement, despair, doubt, and droughts of faith, but rest assured that God is still faithful in His providential care for us. Second Timothy 2:13a says, "If we are faithless, he remains faithful..." So, in these seasons of stress and storm, know that God is fully mindful of your struggle and will supply you with the strength you need to succeed. His faithfulness is unwavering, a constant source of security and confidence.

To God be the glory for the blessings of grace He bestows upon us, especially in our times of need.
