Our Prayers Reach God's Ears
Our Prayers Reach God's Ears | August 14, 2023
Most organizations have a structure to address concerns about problems with their products or performance. If the matter doesn't resolve at the entry-level correspondence, you will get a response that says, "The issue is being escalated."
Thankfully, Scripture teaches that our prayers reach God's ears regarding our trials and troubles. For example, David found himself on the run when King Saul hunted him down. In Psalm 18:3-6 David wrote, "I called on the Lord, who is worthy of praise, and he saved me from my enemies. 4 The ropes of death entangled me; floods of destruction swept over me. 5 The grave wrapped its ropes around me; death laid a trap in my path. 6 But in my distress, I cried out to the Lord; yes, I prayed to my God for help. He heard me from his sanctuary; my cry to him reached his ears."
You might not have enemies like David, but you can relate to the pressures of life. Whether it's family drama or outward distress, you must seek God as David did at his crossroads. See, when you are in a crisis, you either drift away or draw closer to the Lord. Knowing this, double down your commitment to prayer, church attendance, Bible study, and fasting. You can experience significant growth in your valley, provided you are willing to obey God's Word and talk to Him about your struggles. The only condition is that you are living in agreement with the Lord.
Remember, your cares and cries released in prayer reach God's ears.
