God's Timing Is Trustworthy

God's Timing Is Trustworthy | October 24th
A man was lamenting over a contractor he had hired to install new wooden floors in his home. They agreed on materials, the stain, pricing, and a start date, as the flooring was to be done before the holidays. However, several weeks passed from the original starting date, and the contractor was nowhere to be found. Finally, a month and a half later, he called the client to apologize. He explained that he was backed up and promised to get back to him by the end of the week. Well, the end of the week came and went with the contractor again missing in action! As a result, the contract was canceled, and his down payment was returned.
When trusting God's timetable, you might be worn out from waiting like the man who needed the new floors. However, we must remember that God's timing is always perfect, unlike human promises and priorities. Psalm 27:14 declares, "Wait for the Lord; be strong, and let your heart take courage; wait for the Lord!"
See, God already knows what He is going to do. We need to remain faithful and wait on His timing because, in the big picture, it's always best. At the right time, God will provide for our needs. Remember that in those seasons of waiting on God's timing, we may want to give up. Galatians 6:9 counsels us to the opposite when it says, "And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up."
Knowing this, keep praying for your family to come to Christ, and trust God for other needs, such as medical concerns, finances, healing, relationship help, and breakthroughs. Just because you don't see it now doesn't mean the miracle of God's mercy isn't on the way.
Trust God's timing and leave the results to Him.
