Living A Lifestyle Of Service
There is a mindset that goes on when you put on an apron; whether at home cooking, waiting tables as a job, or if you’re in a woodshop or garage building something; there’s something about putting on an apron that spurs a person into a service mentality of delivering on what they need to do. Like putting on an apron, throughout the scriptures, God gives us an understanding of putting on the mindset of service.
God never intended serving God, and serving others as an hour sheet that needs to be filled. We should never look at serving God and others as just fulfilling a requirement, or just volunteering just because I’m needed, it’s much deeper than that. If you want to grow spiritually, you want to model the mindset of service in your life. To live out God’s best for your life, serving is to be a mindset and attitude that you put on, and a lifestyle that you live out daily.
