Serving God Through Adversity

When it comes to serving, it’s important to understand that serving isn’t something that we need to pray about. Serving, instead, is something that we need to do. God has willed for you to be involved in having an active lifestyle of service. It’s also important to understand that serving will help grow and refine you. When you think about growing and maturing in your character there’s something else that does that, and that’s adversity. When serving and adversity are combined together, you can have some great growth and maturity in your life.

During adversity, we can think that we need to get away from the things of God, or when there’s a trouble that we need to get things together, and then at some point down the road, we’ll get back with God. The truth is that during these times, God wants you to draw closer to Him, and to be someone who is serving God through adversity.
