Serving God With Humility

When it comes to serving; whether that’s in church in your home, neighborhood, on your job, at school, or wherever that may be it’s all about humility. Some may think that it’s all about how much talent you have, how much you understand the full range of your spiritual gifts, your talent, personality, charisma, hairstyle, or the clothes that you wear. We often can find ourselves focusing on these areas, but the most important asset when it comes to serving is humility.

Being humble in your serving and in your life most reflects Jesus Christ to others. While pride and arrogance push people away, humility draws people in. You are most effective when you are humble.

If you want the blessing and endorsement of God on your whole life then you want to be humble. God gives grace to the humble. He exalts those who are willing to lower themselves. Especially in this age of entitlement, the celebration of fortune and fame, and glorifying self; humility is your most important asset in life.
