Blessed Are The Honorable

If your heart, soul, and mind aren’t pure, it’s going to be hard to see what God is doing. It will be hard to make the choices that you need to make, to follow through on the decisions that you need to take, and the actions that need to be done. God desires that you would be pure in heart, and being pure will yield a happiness, with the reward of ultimately seeing God. Being pure in heart is to be honorable.

Being honorable gets a bad rap in our society. If you are doing the right thing, you can find yourself being called a goody two shoes. If you’re a hard worker, people can say that you’re just trying to get in well with the boss. Our society that we live in is full of evils and can look to give you a demerit for doing the right thing. We can overcome evil by doing good, and at the heart of goodness is being honorable.

The Bible has a lot to say about being honorable, because there is fruit to being honorable in your home, on the job, in your thoughts, in your heart, or with your hands. As you are honorable, you will find that blessed are the honorable, for they shall be rewarded.
