Guarding My Heart

No matter who we are in life, we all need to protect our hearts. The Bible says to guard our hearts because it’s vital that we do so to be sure that we’re not leaving ourselves vulnerable. We’re going to have disappointments, setbacks, heartaches, and get on each other’s nerves; which all strike at our hearts. Our enemy, the Devil, wants to get at our hearts too, to destroy it. However Satan can try to get at your heart, he will try to get at it. Our enemy is not our boss, our spouse, our problems, or anything else; the Devil himself is our enemy. But if we guard our heart, then we can protect ourselves from the schemes of our enemy.
