Genuine Restoration

God is in the restoring business. God is the Author of restoration. When we look at the beauty of a car at a car show, there’s a lot of work that went in to fixing, repairing, and restoring that car. Countless man hours are spent hunting down parts, matching colors, fixing dents, repairing the engine and frame. Some vehicles take years to restore.

When it comes to your life, and the restoration all our lives need, you don’t want any gimmicks, any phony parts, or someone who’s not qualified to give you that restoration. That is called religion. Religion has an inability in itself that cannot restore you. Only God can bring restoration.

Everyone needs restoration, just look at our lives. Over the course of time we have some wear and tear on our tires. Stress increases the mileage on our minds. If you’ve lived long enough, you have your share of dents and dings. Some of us because of bad choices, bad relationships, wasted time, bad pursuits; have had a few wrecks. But thanks be to God, He is in the restoring business.
