Dealing With Hidden Anger

Do you have any anger that's festering around? Even other emotions that bubble up to the surface can have hidden anger deep inside as the cause. The Bible speaks to the issue of anger, especially in the Book of Jonah.

Unchecked anger creates conflict and clarity problems with God. We need to check things in our life. Anger isn’t necessarily bad, you can have just anger. But if you don’t deal with that anger properly it can very easily turn and become a major problem in your life. You can tell a lot about the condition of a person by how they deal with anger. In the Bible, Jonah has a hidden anger issue that gets in the way of him fulfilling God’s purposes. Unchecked anger gets in the way with your relationship with God and with others. It only gets worse as it can lead to aggravation, frustration, irritation, negativity, self-pity, hate, depression, resentment, or even suicidal thoughts.

Thankfully, If we’re willing to be transparent with God we can experience transformation through His mercy. You can bring your anger before God to restore your clarity and peace with God and others.
