Operation Recovery

There are many hurts, hangups, and habits that God has rescued us from. From addictions, to gossip, anxiety, codependency, the list goes on and on of things that can have a hold on us. It is for these areas and sin in our lives that Jesus Christ went to the cross and was risen on the third day, so that by placing our faith in Him we may be saved.

But what happens after a person puts their faith in Christ? That is where the church comes in. Jesus Christ administers the first aid through salvation, and He continues His work through the church, which is a hospital to help us in our recovery. We are all a work in progress, and Jesus is working on every one of us. Through the church, He works on us by helping us to become committed to Him. As we continue to be committed to Jesus Christ we now go through the "physical therapy" of continuing our recovery by exercising our faith to keep it strong.
