Showing Mercy In An Unmerciful World

The world is meaner, crueler, and more unmerciful than it was a few short months ago. Even in your own life trying to show mercy can be messy. People mess up, people are going to offend you, insult you, and hurt you. While the world and inner pridefulness would tell you to not show mercy to someone unless they deserved it; when we look to God, one of His most beautiful characteristics is undeserved, unearned mercy. In your own life, Jesus said that when you show mercy to others you will be blessed, and you, yourself, will be treated mercifully. Rep your faith by showing mercy in an unmerciful world.
