Sep 11, 2016

On September 11, 2001, 2,966 lives were taken, over 6,000 people were injured, and our nation was crippled with grief. Oftentimes people of faith join in the chorus of commentaries concerning the “why” for tragedies such as 9/11. However, this is unproductive for those suffering, because many of the questions surrounding tragedy will remain unanswered on this side of heaven.

Instead the focus needs to be on remembering the day with honor and humility. Doing so provides an opening for a meaningful message of comfort, which comes from God.
