We live in a world of reality TV where individual characters try to fix one another in a 30 episode. These shows typically follow the same predictable format of scenes of the cast interacting in some way followed by side interviews of the characters offering their advise for their fellow cast member. The real comedy is trying to watch people lead others before they provide proper leadership to themselves. Simply put you can't take someone where are not.
