Prayer Hope

God gives us the promise of hope through prayer. Prayer is unlike anything else on the face of the Earth. It is an exclusive communication that you can have with your Heavenly Father.

Maybe you have somebody in your life, like a parent, friend, or spouse who’s close to you. You have an unbridled, uninterrupted, anytime-you-want communication with them. How does that make you feel? That certainly can make you feel very secure.

That feeling of security comes from knowing that you can go to them, you can share with them warts and all, and you don’t have to pretend or put on a mask. If you had a need you know they are the number one person you can go to and they’re not going to look down upon you.

With God, you have that same open line of communication. You can go to Him. You can share with Him, warts and all. In your needs, God is the ultimate Person you can go to, and He’s not going to look down upon you. This unbridled, uninterrupted, anytime-you-want communication with God is called prayer. And it is through prayer that you can have Secure Hope.
