A majority of gifts exchanged during Christmas typically fall into the “want” category. However, on occasion, we receive or give a gift that is of necessity. This gift meets a need and usually comes just at the right time. There is a great sense of joy attached to this type of gift that both the giver and the receiver experience. The same is true with you and God. Even with the commercialized Christmas culture you live in, God’s “Gift of Peace” is still what you need. The hustle and bustle of life is a prime example of this need as well as the many responsibilities that you juggle. Really the only medicine for stress is peace. Unwrapping this gift brings great pleasure to God and peace to your life. The whole message of Christmas is God giving the Gift of Peace to the world through the birth of Jesus.
