Share The Meaning Of Christmas

Christmas movies, gifts, decorations, trees, and Santa Claus can be at the forefront of the Christmas season. While they are all great things, we must never forget the primary meaning of Christmas, which is the celebration of Jesus' birth. We celebrate the fact that God sent His Son to the world to take our place on the Cross so that through faith in Him our sins may be forgiven, and those who put their faith in Him will join Him in heaven.

Scripture References: Luke 1:26-38

From Series: "Share Christmas With Everyone"

Christmas songs, decorations, cards, cookies, and, of course, presents are all pleasant reminders that the most wonderful time of the year has arrived. What makes Christmas so special is the joy that comes in sharing it with others. This joy to share Christmas was part of the very first Christmas as recorded in Luke 2:17-18: “When they had seen him, they spread the word concerning what had been told them about this child, and all who heard it were amazed at what the shepherds said to them.” An important part of the Christmas season is sharing it with others. Therefore, we will learn how to best Share Christmas With Everyone we know. In doing so, we will be truly celebrating the meaning and message of Christmas.
