Showing Mercy In An Unmerciful World

Showing Mercy In An Unmerciful World

The world is meaner, crueler, and more unmerciful than it was a few short months ago. Even in your own life trying to show mercy can be messy. People mess up, people are going to offend you, insult you, and hurt you. While the world and inner pridefulness would tell you to not show mercy to someone unless they deserved it; when we look to God, one of His most beautiful characteristics is undeserved, unearned mercy. In your own life, Jesus said that when you show mercy to others you will be blessed, and you, yourself, will be treated mercifully. Rep your faith by showing mercy in an unmerciful world.

Therefore, we are Christ’s representatives, and through us, God is calling you. We beg you on behalf of Christ to become reunited with God. – 2 Corinthians 5:20 GW Perhaps now, more so than ever before, our world is looking for answers to the daily confusion that surrounds us. The news, social media, and the stock market all confirm what the Bible teaches concerning the lack of stability in this life. Like He has throughout all of history, God has chosen to partner with His people to bring clarity to the confusion, by showing the world who God truly is. God’s Word tells us that “we are Christ’s representatives,” The best contribution you can make in our problematic world is to represent the faith that God has given you. If you’re not sure of your faith, then there is no better time than now to come and see that God has a path, a plan, and a purpose for you. No matter what has happened in your life, no matter how bad things have been, or how bad things are now; God is ready to, and wants to, restore you. Come and find out the tangible ways to best represent your faith in your life. There is no greater truth than realizing that God has redeemed you to be His representative to those that are lost and suffering. God has restored you to Rep Your Faith.
