The choice of confession means that you are going to clean the slate. Like a teacher in school wiping the chalkboard clean, confession wipes your heart clean with God. As you turn the calendar to another year, you don’t want to come into this new year with all the garbage of your sin from last year Begin the year with confession, so you can have a clean heart before God since concealing sin has a disastrous effect on your life. Choose to live clean, by choosing confession.
