From Series: "Spiritual Nutrition Fifty"
What if you could find a way to rejuvenate your mind, body, and spirit? For most people, this is an ongoing mission, whether they realize it or not. The pathway to greater health and renewal comes through a healthy lifestyle, and a healthy lifestyle is based upon healthy nutrition. Highly respected nutritionist and their scientific studies agree that the cleaner you eat, the healthier you become. The concept of eating clean and healthy originated in the Bible. God provided this standard of living so that you could operate at maximum potential, and also combat the many sicknesses that can potentially come your way. This means that your physical health is greatly increased when your nutrition is clean. Whenever you eliminate processed and artificial foods, your body responds with rejuvenation and renewal. This of course strengthens your overall health and awareness, making you more productive for family, work, and fun but it doesn’t stop there. In His infinite wisdom, God uses the picture of physical nutrition, and its benefits to correlate with spiritual nutrition. As you have healthy nourishment from God’s Scriptures, you become spiritually healthy; which then overflows into other vital areas of your life such as relational, financial, mental, and physical health. In 50 days you can make significant progress in your pursuit of health. Take the next 50 days to make some long-overdue changes to your spiritual nutrition. Using the parallel to physical nutrition you will discover the tangible ways to improve the nourishment of your soul. “Jesus replied, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never be hungry again. Whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.” -John 6:35 NLT Join in on this journey by attending church, joining one of our small group Bible studies, participating in the reading plan, memorizing selected Bible verses, praying, fasting, and having fun with learning creative ways to achieve healthy Spiritual Nutrition.
