The message of the cross is a message that transcends time, our trials, our troubles, our tribulations, and even our transgression. It is a message that is powerful yet peaceful. one that establishes faith, but extinguishes fear. A message of comfort not condemnation. A message that inspires confidence and calmness even in a crisis For many people the message of the cross is an offense. Some think when you talk about Christianity, the things of God, praying in the midst of a crisis that it’s mere rubbish. That there’s no impact on calling or crying out to God in our times of difficulty. To them the message of the cross is foolishness, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.
